VASAVI VITTAL - Founder and Managing Director
Vasavi brings over 20 years of experience across venture capital, private equity, and public markets, with deep expertise in healthcare, biotech, and pharma.
Before founding Liberty Ridge Capital, she was Portfolio Manager and Head of Healthcare Investments at ICM Global Funds, where she led investments across early- and growth-stage companies, shaped strategy, and served on boards.
Previously, Vasavi held roles across investment management with a focus on healthcare listed equities and private equity investments. Her experience also includes working in the commercial strategy team at GSK and as a Biotech Equity Research Analyst at Atlantic Equities (now Redburn). Vasavi began her career as a scientist, first at Shantha Biotechnics in India, where she was part of the early team developing a Hepatitis B vaccine for the domestic market. She subsequently joined Oregon Health & Science University, contributing to glaucoma research and co-authoring several peer-reviewed publications. Vasavi holds a MS in Biochemistry from University of Maryland, College Park and a MBA from University of Oxford.
Vasavi combines scientific insight with financial discipline to identify high-impact opportunities and support founders in building sustainable, purpose-driven businesses. She has lived and worked across India, the US, UK, and Singapore — bringing a truly global perspective to everything she does.

SUSHANTH YELLAPANTULA - Partner
Sushanth is a pharmaceutical industry leader with over 14 years of global experience in business development, corporate strategy, and operational leadership. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Connecting Dots FZCO, a boutique consultancy supporting early-stage biopharma companies with go-to-market strategy and growth capital.
Previously, Suhanth was part of the founding team at GeneSys Biologics, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the business — securing over $50 million in equity financing and structuring licensing deals worth more than $200 million. He remains closely involved in the company’s strategic initiatives.
He began his career at RA Chem Pharma (now Cohance Life Sciences), where he led the clinical research division and contributed to core R&D efforts. Suhanth holds a Master’s in Pharmacology from King’s College London and is an active member of its Indian alumni network.
